Lack of communication

I was disappointed with the lack of communication. It took several phone calls to get an answer for when the car would shipped. I was told the car would be picked up on a Friday and delivered on Saturday at the latest. However that was not the case. It was in fact the dealer who emailed me and said the schedule had changed and the car would be picked up the following day (Saturday). At that point we expected to hear something from the shipper, but did not hear anything until Sunday afternoon when the driver was an hour away.

When it came to delivery, we had suggested a place to meet. We sent the address to the driver. When the driver made it to town, he called and said he was parked and wanted us to come meet him, which was not near us. We also were not given proper time to inspect the car for any damages.

The driver was friendly and cordial and in retrospect we feel foolish for signing the inspection report without properly looking over the vehicle. The driver should have recommended we take our time and inspect the vehicle as it’s his job to deliver it in the same condition he picked it up in. One we were home, we felt satisfied with the condition of the vehicle.
