Transported from OH to San Diego. I was told they use their own trucks - not true. Global requested pickup 2 days early. Driver arrived 6 hours late on pickup day. Ask me to meet him at local Walmart. No door to door service. Took 10 days for the vehicle to be delivered to me in San Diego. No status on vehicle during the entire transport. Waited all day on the vehicle to be delivered in San Diego on promised delivery day - was told the night before that vehicle would be delivered at 11:00 AM - next day. Vehicle arrived at 6:30 PM - after I made 3 calls to check on the status. No one available at Global to take my calls at 6:30 PM. My 2014 Ford Escape with 8000 miles was DELIVERED TO ME HOOKED TO THE BACK OF A TOW TRUCK, not on a carrier as I had contracted ( I have pictures) .Once again, no door-to-door delivery. Front 2 wheels were muddy and the 2 front valve caps were missing, also found mud inside of the vehicle. This is NOT how the vehicle left my home in Ohio. I could not reach anyone at Global to help at 6:30 PM. Owner of tow company told me if I did not pay, they would take my car back to his place and I could work it out another day. Called and left Chris a message the night vehicle was delivered. No return calls the next day. I had to call him again, then Chris pretended that he could not hear me on the call. I guess they were watching for me on caller ID. Elena was also no help. She wanted me to work with the tow company to get an adjustment on my fee. Why would I work with the tow company when I contracted with Global. What a joke this whole process was. STAY AWAY. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM,THEY ARE OF NO ASSISTANCE. I paid for carrier delivery door to door, not for my new SUV to end up on the back of a tow truck.

Dear Valued Customer, I want to begin my apologizing for the inconvenience that our carrier may have caused. Our company is indeed considered a carrier and a broker- therefore, we do have our own trucks and we also have contracted carriers that we work through for certain routes. As proof, we will be uploading pictures of our trucks immediately. As far as the claim for the delivery turnaround, it is unfortunately incorrect because all of our transit dates are estimated. This information is clearly printed on the contract that you agreed to when signing on with our company. Furthermore, I want to state the fact that we do not tow vehicles via tow trucks, regardless of make or model. The reason that we were cornered into proceeding with this method of delivery is because you insisted that the vehicle be delivered the day that our truck was experiencing some mechanical difficulties. Once again, our dates are estimated and we never guarantee delivery dates- however, because we always do everything possible to make our customers happy, we agreed to deliver your vehicle on your preferred date with a tow truck. I understand that you are frustrated with the fact that the vehicle may have been towed to you but if you had been patient and waited until the following morning, we would have delivered it to you with a standard truck. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to resolve this issue by processing a refund, my management team did not approve it because of the terms and conditions you agreed to in our contract. By all means, the language on the contract does not mention the method of transportation that will be used to move your vehicle from point A to point B. The carrier we had contracted out to, Pro Transport LLC. is who you chose to deal with directly when requesting delivery and you agreed to their personal terms and conditions verbally. Had you waited a single extra night, we would have professionally delivered the vehicle to you with our truck. The facts are that you chose to go with an open transport and are unsatisfied with the dirty condition of your vehicle- however, it is impossible to keep a vehicle clean when transporting it via an open trailer. Although Global Auto Transportation takes no responsibility for this, the tow truck that was delivering to you had the courtesy to provide you with a $50 discount for the inconvenience and the dirty condition of the vehicle. I feel that both the carrier and our company have fulfilled your requests to the best of our abilities for this transportation and I sincerely apologize that your extreme standards were not sufficiently satisfied or met. Although we have done all that we could to keep you happy, I will also apply a $200 credit on your account with our company for any future transportation necessities you may have. Once more, I thank you for your business and appreciate you understanding how careful and sincerely we deal with our customers and their vehicles. Thank you and we look forward to servicing you in the near future.
