Transported my 1955 Pickup from California to Illinois

On the classic car for sale websites there is an ad where you can put in your zip code and get a quote for shipping your car. I put my zip code in and got an estimate right away but within the next 12 hours probably received 6 emails from companies soliciting my business. Each company provided a quote. I then narrowed it down to three. Get It Done Transportations email stated that unlike other companies they would not bombard me with constant emails and phone calls and that their quote would not go up and was guaranteed. They warned in their email that other companies get you to commit then change the pickup and delivery dates and also increase the price. I thought this was just a scare tactic and ignored it. However, when I called the first company that I decided to go with and asked when they would pick my vehicle up they told me that they could not guarantee a pickup date other than sometime in the next 30 days and it could take a few weeks to deliver it once they picked it up. I then asked about the price they quoted and they said until they had identified a hauler they could not guarantee the price and that the price could increase. I called the second company and got a similar story. So I called Get It Done and they guaranteed a pickup within three days and a delivery date within two weeks of pickup because they had other stops to deliver other cars. Get It Done kept me informed the entire time and whenever I called them for an update as I was excited they would call the driver and call me back within the same day and give me an update. I would use Get It Done Transportation again and highly recommend them. On delivery the driver called me and arranged for a 2 hour window to deliver the car at my house. I was in the house watching TV during that time period when my phone rang and the driver said your car is out front. It was a wonderful experience
