I honestly could not be more pleased with my experience Friendly Auto Transport. Jason (broker) worked like a mad man to make my transport happen without complaint. There were a few hiccups due to the transporter carriers however that was no fault of Friendly Auto. I've dealt with MANY brokers throughout the years and every one left a bad taste in my mouth until now. On that note, please STAY AWAY from Ship It Quick LLC. I was very close to taking them to court if it didn't mean traveling to DE to file, and no you can't do it through mail in that state. I did however leave a VERY lengthy review on a few sites and the Better Business Borough. Luckily this company was nothing like that. I will take some time to explain and perhaps fill you in with some tips along the way. At first I was quoted astronomical prices by other brokers (between $900 to $1300) this was due to the Transport Carriers rate. Now I've shipped my vehicle numerous times from NJ to FL and back and never paid more than $600 to $700 including brokers fee, sometimes running, sometimes inoperable. That was also when gas prices were close to $4.00 a gallon, go figure. (Note: Inoperable vehicles relatively cost about $100 more to transport) A couple brokers stated it was because of COVID precautions (which is complete nonsense). Now before I go along any further, Transporters (Trucking Companies) set their price and Brokers always charge a fee for their service on top of the transport service, normally between $100 to $200. (Tip) Ask how much their broker fee is and if it's included in the price. It seems in recent times transport companies think they can get off on the consumer to make their business a get rich quick service. I guess they know some people have more money then sense and people will pay whatever they ask to get service but I'm not that guy. Now here's the thing not many brokers will tell you. (Tip!) You can set your own price/bid for transporting your vehicle just make sure you do so ahead of time. Some transporter "crooks" know they can get away with their insane prices if your on a tight schedule. Don't do it ! Tell the broker your (reasonable) price and let them put it in the data base, if they won't do it, or give you a hard time FIND A DIFFERENT BROKER! When transport company's start seeing people aren't going to pay their insane get rich quick prices they will either pick your car up for that price or go out of business. I promise you, they will pick up your car. If it ends up being $50 to $100 more than your bid, no big deal. However, if you know the price is crazy and you accept it anyway, YOU are part of the problem and the reason they're getting away with it and others are stuck with inflated prices. That being said (Tip) Make sure your broker calls and verifies the transporters insurance for your vehicle. BELIEVE ME there are transporters that provide falsified paperwork to brokers. It DID happen this last time, however I was lucky enough that Jason (Friendly Auto Transport) was able to catch onto it and did his due diligence by checking thoroughly. Additionally, Jason was the ONLY transport broker that gave me his personal contact number and remained committed to his job. I could call him morning, noon or night and he would pick up or immediately get back to me within the hour. He was not hesitant to call a transporter up and call them out on shady ordeals or excuses either. In conclusion, I can't say anything about the other employee's of Friendly Auto Transport, however, Jason was the best broker I've ever dealt with and I will never deal with anyone else again when it comes to transporting my vehicles. Hi Adam...thank you for taking the time to record such an in-depth review and for highlighting what makes Friendly Auto Transport different and distinct from everyone else. As you stated here, yes, sometimes hiccups can happen in the world of logistics and all the "moving parts" involved. Far too often, shipping brokers think that their only job is to load the customer's vehicle on the truck and then they're done. Not us. We stay committed for the entire journey until delivery. You were such a great customer to serve and we are grateful for your patronage. Thank you for trusting us to ship your vehicle and look forward to doing so in the future! God bless you and your family!
