Terrible communication, late delivery.

Don't use these guys. Just don't. I transported from WA to AZ, and the broker I went through kept scheduling them, and I kept cancelling, because I read prior reviews. I was coming up on a deadline, and I caved, because they were the only transporter picking up my order. In retrospect, I should've just upped the bid or patiently waited for someone else. This company is HORRIBLE at communicating. Calling dispatch or the driver personally will not get an answer. Leave voicemails, they won't call back, etc. My car got scheduled, and they emailed me the day prior saying they'd pick the car up the next day. I immediately called them to get a human on the phone - no answer. Left a voicemail, "I understand you guys are coming to pick my car up tomorrow, please call me back and I'll make sure either my wife and I are home." I sent an email as well right after I left the voicemail. No return phone call or email. Day of pick-up comes, and like most others, I had to go to work. I called them several times from work to try to get someone on the phone. Are you coming today? That's what your canned email said - so, when are you coming? No responses. I called the company who was acting as the broker saying that these guys hadn't contacted me, so the broker contacted Fife, who told them when they'd be by, then the broker called me back to let me know it was going to be the following day. Is this seeming like it's an annoying hassle yet? Well, the broker says they'll be by between 3 and 6pm; the day of the scheduled pickup, I get a phone call 30 minutes prior to the driver showing up. He shows up and loads the car onto the trailer. The original delivery time was scheduled for that Saturday (they picked the car up on a Wednesday.) After he had loaded the car, he asked if it was OK if he delivered the car on Sunday. I said that was between him and the shop the car was being delivered to. While the car was on the road, I called the shop that the car was being delivered to and let them know that the driver had asked me if he could deliver Sunday. The shop owner tried calling the driver, no answer. Tried calling their dispatch, no answer. Saturday comes around. No car in AZ. No call from driver. No call from dispatch. Neither one of them will answer phone calls. Well, back to the middle-man broker I guess. I call the broker - "Hey dude, the car is MIA." - "OK, let us call Fife and get back to you..." ... Broker calls me back, "The driver is saying the car will be there Sunday." Sunday comes and goes - you guessed it. No car. No call from driver. No call from dispatch. Neither will return calls. Monday rolls around and the car shows up in AZ - the shop owner calls me to tell me that the car has been delivered. The driver never called the shop in AZ, he just showed up. The *only* good thing I can say about these guys is that they didn't damage the car, but the car did change trailers at least once, because the trailer that left my house wasn't the one that showed up in AZ. Also, I paid for an enclosed transport, and the trailer that showed up in AZ was an open-air, multi-level trailer. So, you don't even get what you pay for. Bottom line: these dudes are amateurs, they're terrible at communicating, and you car will change hands who knows how many times. Pass.
