I was quoted $450 total to transport a car from North Alabama to South Florida. Sounds too good to be true, right? It was. $150 of that is the broker fee and the rest goes to the driver. When the driver arrived, they informed me their fee is $600, not $300. Theresa, with Auto Transport Solutions (aka Fast Track Auto Carriers) was ZERO help. She kept stating that they don’t guarantee the quote they give. So basically they make up a low ball number in order to hook you and don’t notify you of the extreme escalated cost. Unfortunately, I had a flight to make the day of pickup and was stuck with the $600 ($750 total) tab. The truck driver stated to me that he sees this all the time and no one should ever use a broker because they all appear to be crooked. Coincidentally, I also noticed fraudulent use of my credit card immediately after providing this business with an executed credit card authorization form. The charges on my card were to local businesses where they are located in South Florida.
