They were 2 days late picking up the horse, then were terrible about keeping contact. It took them 3 extra days to deliver, always rescheduling at the absolute last moment and causing me major issues with my job.
I was to meet them to pick up my horse, last minute they rescheduled. I couldn’t make the new time and place, so first the driver offered to deliver him to me for quite a bit of extra money. Then threatened to simply leave the horse at an unknown barn. She wanted payment in full before the Horse was delivered- which I refused (please note I had every intention of paying, but not until I had the horse and especially not when she was threatening to leave him in an unknown location!)
She cursed me out, threatened to hide the horse from me, threatened to leave it somewhere and not tell me where until I paid. I finally had to threaten to contact state patrol and report the Horse as stolen if she refused to deliver.
Ultimately, with much cursing on her side, she delivered the horse and I paid in full.
I have NEVER had a worse shipping experience in my life and I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a shipper keep looking! Don’t use Elliot Equine.
