I was sent an email on Friday 5/22 that my car was scheduled for pickup on Saturday 5/23 and would be delivered on Sunday 5/24. The email said that I would be receiving a confirmation phone call. I never received the call so I called the number of the transporter. He apparently knew nothing about the appointment and said they would not be able to do anything until Monday. I pleasantly replied that Monday was a holiday to which he said that he did not know that. I thought EVERY American citizen knew when Memorial Day was!

We are sorry our customer Paul did not receive proper follow up communication from our assigned carrier. Paul did not reach out to us but rather posted this online. Hardly fair. We responded right away once we learned of the dropped ball and are now trying to find a replacement. Paul chose the lowest Standard rate and we assigned a driver immediately. Paul is still likely to get quick service come Tuesday. In defense of the driver who was unaware Monday is Memorial Day, many people are losing track of what day it is during this pandemic. Especially true for hard working truck drivers for whom the days start to blur together. We respect them and count them as vital to America. Everybody stay safe.
