glad the vehicle was transported. driver made first contact on morning for delivery day, to notify delivery at 5 or 6pm, not a problem, but expected call a day ahead. driver calls before 6pm, to notify he is in a city 400 miles away, so delivery will be at about 11pm, definitely unexpected . driver calls at 11pm, to notify 60 more miles to cover, so delivery will be around 12am, luckily I had things to keep me busy. driver calls at 11:45, notifying 10 miles away, but takes 30 minutes to cover the distance. car is delivered at 12:15am, so I guess I was technically notified the day before. the street is narrow, the driver parked 2 blocks away, unloaded the car and drove the car to the delivery address. That was a nice surprise, as I knew I might be expected to meet at another location to accept delivery if the delivery address is inaccessible to the transport vehicle. the job was completed, so I'm mostly satisfied.
