CAA Transport was an absolutely horrendous and terrible experience. I was recommended to use their services by my dealership in CA for my car to be sent to me across country to DC. The day of delivery, the driver called me to arranged a pick a time which was fine. Although I could barely understand his english, I obliged to drive closer to him to make it simpler. He REFUSED to give me an address to meet - he kept screaming at me on the phone meet me at the bus stop, meet at the bus stop. The area where we were in (Tysons Corner) is home to a huge metro station with numerous bus stops, when I told him this in order to clarify he started screaming at me that he couldn't talk to me that I was stupid. "it is just the bus stop!! I am going to hang up now, it is dangerous to talk and drive! lady stop talking, bus stop, bus stop!" He then hung up on me and ignored my calls. Then he sent me a picture of a map via text that still had no address, just a general area on a road, I called an uber to go there. Again-he was not there and screamed at me for not being at the "bus stop." I ended up having to walk along the highway to figure out where this guy was and got picked up by a taxi who was nice enough to loop around several times - long behold, we find him NOWHERE near where he explained. In fact, he was on the shoulder of an on ramp to get on the freeway with my car out in the open. ABSURD. Relieved I am near my car, I go to hand him payment - to which he told me prior he would only accept cash, no check, cashiers check, or credit car....it gets worse. After I gave him the payment and proceeded to place my receipt of payment in my bag and drive away, he comes running towards me saying that he never got my payment. That I did not give it to him. He asked for me to get my purse and show that It was not in there. I was furious and said no, you gave me a receipt, it is on you if you dropped in on the highway,..he ended up dropping it by the rig and received it. This was an awful experience that was borderline criminal, and CLEARLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I made sure to call Jim, the manager of this operation - he was not helpful either. He said oh sorry, I am sorry. Never happened before and then hung up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
