I used Best Auto Movers to transport a high horsepower late model Mustang from south Florida to north Texas. The car was nearing the top of my budget, so the challenge was on to find a high quality enclosed shipping company that was still reasonably priced. I spent a great deal of time research transportation companies and getting quotes. I was able to glean some insight just from the quotation process- many companies, even those that own their own fleets, still were acting as brokers and couldn't tell me who would actually transport my car. While I feel its entirely possible to have a good experience with a broker, I wanted to work directly with the transporter. Insurance coverage and safety record were also important factors in my decision. Best Auto Movers was very responsive before and during the job. Getting a quote and scheduling the job was quick and easy. The driver was extremely impressive- he was an effective communicator, pleasant to deal with, and very flexible around my busy work schedule. Most importantly, he did exactly what he said and when. The actual truck used for transporting my car was very nice and appeared well maintained. From a cost perspective, Best Auto Movers was about 35% cheaper than most of the other enclosed carriers for my route. I have used a few well known transport companies in the past including Intercity Lines, Plycar and Exotic (now out of business), and had positive experiences. That said, Best Auto Movers was at least if not better from a customer service standpoint, and was significantly cheaper. I had a very positive experience with Best Auto Movers and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
