Unexpected last minute changes

Not sure if it’s just the nature of the vehicle transportation industry, but I called a month in advance (and two weeks later again) to get my dates settled and there were still last minute changes AFTER I put in my deposit. My vehicle was picked up a day or two later than expected and was dropped off a day before the date I was told. If I had not flown to the new city I was getting my vehicle dropped off at, no one would’ve been there to pick up my vehicle, which wouldve sucked. My agent wasn’t much apologetic when he was telling me about these last minute changes so I’m thinking that’s just how this industry works, who knows. The vehicle wasn’t damaged though (at least I don’t think it is).
