Marie called my 17 yr old son, who was getting quotes and gave him the impression we had decided to go w/their co just because we inquired. She sent him a contract which "needed to be signed immediately or we'd lose the spot"-so as a child will do-he complied. They also decided they needed a $200.00 deposit. After he signed and returned the contract- it went from a 5-6 day turnaround to a phone call saying it was going to be a minimum of 10!!! This was unacceptable. I called them as soon as I realized they had him sign a contract, to cancel their services which the verbal amts and timeframes changed as soon as he signed. I had informed them that they signed with a minor, which is NOT LEGAL- and requested a refund. Mark Duggar responded by saying "we have no way of telling how old someone is. He could've been a 10 year old-we don't know" !! He refused to accept the fact that the contract is legally null & void . A MINOR CHILD CANNOT ENTER INTO A LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT- They are still refusing to refund the $200.00 deposit saying "it's in the contract" I've filed a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney Generals offices of both Fl and PA. Get these people to stop scamming and owning up to the fact that what they did was WRONG !!!

AutoStar Transport Express acted in good faith, and in accordance to all guidelines and policies that have been in practice for the last 10 years. The customer's son completed a contract that clearly requires anyone to be 18 years or older, and then used his father's credit card to complete the order. Once we were notified this had taken place, we immediately refunded the customer.
