I Called Auto Transport 123 because they had great reviews on this site. Spoke to Tara and explained I need a vehicle transported from North Carolina to California immediately. She promised she could get it booked and on a delivery truck within 24 hours but the cost would be a little higher. I agreed to pay $1425 and booked the contract. 24 hours passed and I called the company many times trying to reach Tara but only got a voice mail. Left messages but never got a response. Finally spoke to the representative Anne and found out the reservation was still pending. I told her that I wanted to cancel and she said I need to make the cancellation in writing and send it in. I could not cancel on the phone. I sent a written cancellation to them and got a response back that I will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. If I do not pay the fee then they will attempt to collect the entire $1425 transport fee with a collection company. Charging for service not completed is illegal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
