I booked transport for a car in June of this year, the car was to be shipped from Vancouver to Toronto. I paid in full after receiving reassurance from Gerry that it would be transported safely and quickly, the two most important aspects of the industry. The car was to be dropped off on 21 July and picked up 15 days later.

The morning of the 21st, I receive a call from Gerry saying that AutoRail is unable to fulfill the contract as the car doesn't have enough ground clearance. I had specifically asked about this at time of booking (over a month beforehand), and was assured it wasn't an issue. I scrambled to find another way to ship the car, eventually missing my flight to Toronto as a result.

I asked for a refund of my payment. Gerry promised me week after week that it would
a) be sent to accounting
b) 'accounting' would return ten days later from holidays
c) it will be sent
d) it will be sent next week
e) it was sent this week

Three months later, nothing, and no reply to any of my messages. I'm starting to understand just how much this whole company is nothing but a scam. Avoid!

(Had to put US states in the origin and destination boxes- actual shipping was to be between Vancouver, BC, Canada and Toronto, ON, Canada)
