Mike Checin was great from American Car Transporters used CAA Transport for the actual carrier, the drivers both called to communicate pick up and drop off - locations were a bit difficult due to the large size of the truck but that't nothing unusual.
The drop off was communicated for 1 particular day, but no call was received from the driver or CAA Transport. After follow up, the car was delivered a day late.
I received an accepted bid on the price point in less than 12 hours, so I believe that the bid advice from the Account Manager was either a bit high, or right on target. No way to really tell.
The shipment from NC to CA took over a week, so a cross country transport should be planned ahead.
The pick up requires cash or a cashiers check, which was communicated via email but never on the phone. So, I would have preferred that the Account Manager let me know upfront so I had time to get to the bank. But the overall experience was positive.
