Starting this process, I was worried it would be a bait and switch. I was worried about the quality of driver as well as qualifications and track record.
It ended up being a very pleasant smooth transaction and my driver could not have been nicer, and was caring and professional.
The initial "estimate" was quite lower than the final cost as it was projected by the freight company as an average.
The time of year I was sending my vehicle and the timeframe that was requried for pick up and delivery were reasonable factors that resulted in my price increase. As I was shipping a car entirely accross the country it was still was in a range that would reflect this type of job.
The AmeriFreight agent who was my contact was Gina Williams and she was extremely helpful and I could tell was making an effort to try to find the best solution and the best price. She did not come accross as giving me a sales pitch - she was much more caring and listned to my needs. She also kept track of my vehicle from the moment of pick up, was available for me to reach out to the entire time it was traveling and she promptly followed up to make sure my pick up went safely and smoothly.
