I would never recommend this company to ANYONE. They flat out lied to me about the pricing. When quoted for $890, the only offers in the first TWO WEEKS, was for almost $1500. I didn't find out until I cancelled, that they were going to keep $386 as their commission for posting the job which takes 10 minutes to do. The job was posted at $1000, but I wasn't getting offers in that range because they add on their fee on top of what they say they're going to post the job for. I asked about this and was lied to directly. I would never trust them with a hot wheel, let alone my car. Stay away, trust me.. Here is our exchange. you can decide for yourself if this is misleading. Me: Hi Barry, had a question about the deposit. What was the deposit dollar amount? And if it's listed at $1000, is my out of pocket $1000+ the deposit? Or the 1000 encompasses both and I will just owe the driver 1000-deposit? Them: Hi Mark, the deposit amount is $386.If your car did move at 1000 - as an example, it would be 1000 - 386 = $614 paid to driver upon delivery. Hope this helps! What carrier would ship a car across the country for $614?? Thanks for completely wasting my time Amerifreight. Barry - you're a great liar. You picked a good industry to do it in.

We have looked into this customer's claims, and have determined that they are not at all factual. We have a signed contract and detailed correspondences between our customer service agent and the customer, in which they agree to the exact breakdown of cost for the type of rate requested. Transparency with each and every customer is a top priority at AmeriFreight, and all optional rates are discussed in great detail from the get-go via phone communication and email.
