My husband and I have used Amerifreight twice in the last 2 months. Once when our son wanted his car transported to where he is stationed(TX to CA)and the second time when my 77 year old Mom moved out of state(IL to TX). Both went great. My son chose the economy rate and his car was picked up in the week window that was required. The drive called us with a 30 minute window at approximately 10pm. We arrived at the same time the driver did at the designated location, Walmart parking lot. He loaded it up and off the car went. The drive communicated well with my son and the car was delivered without any problems at all in CA. For my mom, Amerifreight and the driver worked mainly with me at first to make all the arrangements. However, they did communicated with my mom as well. My flight did not come in till Saturday. The driver arrived to pick up my Mom's car the day before on Friday, day 1 of the 3 day requirement for priority pick up. The driver gave my mom a couple of hours window for pick up, was on time and communicated very well with my mom through the process . He met my mom in an empty parking lot that use to be a K-Mart at about 3pm. My mom was able to easily walk home. We flew my mom to her new home in TX the very next Tuesday(4 days later) and later that same day the car was arrive in the same condition it left. The driver was a little later than he said but it was not his fault. Traffic going through our area was extremely heavy and was not expected. Because of that he did arrive after dark. Again, not the drivers fault. Great company, great driver. Will use Amerifreight again if need and will be happy to refer them to any one that needs a referral.
