Got the job done but communication was poor

The company was very helpful with getting everything set up until I signed the papers. After that, they stopped responding to my emails. Apparently one of my agents left and they transferred me to someone else who had an extended leave during the time of shipment, and no one else took over for them. This left me making several phone calls to even get updates and often times I would be waiting on hold for 30-60 min. I had no point of contact and no one seemed like they were assigned to my shipment. I eventually had to leave my vehicle and move all the way across the country without having any idea of when it would be shipped to me. I ended up paying $600 more than what was initially quoted to get my vehicle shipped. Overall it got there in one piece but next time I will pay the extra money up front to have a guaranteed date.
