Initially, everything was great as far as my interaction with AmeriFreight. My go to person was Richard and he was very friendly and informative. Where it all went down hill is when Richard took some time off and his co workers took over my transaction. I really felt like the ball was dropped in my case as far as AmeriFreight is concerned. Once a driver was found I was told I would receive an email with the driver's information and customer ratings. I never received that email. On the day the driver was to pick up my truck from the seller I called AmeriFreight because the seller still hadn't heard from the driver and plans for pick up had not been nailed down. AmeriFreight got in touch with the driver and I was told he was coming out of Oregon (pick up was in Washington) and that he would be there between 5 & 7pm and they would call me back to make sure everything went as planned. I never got that call back. Each time I spoke with someone at AmeriFreight it was a different person each time. I also contacted the seller to let him know because I knew he was having to stay after work to wait on the driver. When the driver finally called the seller he let him know he was in Nevada and wouldn't be there until 11pm or later that night! This made me mad. Why was I told something completely different by someone at AmeriFreight after she said she just spoke with the driver? I tried to call AmeriFreight but did not get an answer. I felt bad for the seller and I was embarrassed because the reason I went with AmeriFreight was for their previous customer reviews and I expected things to run smoothly. Things did not run smoothly. It was just one fail after another. I apologized to the seller numerous times for how poorly things were going. When my truck was delivered the driver broke the driver side mirror off my 1961 Ford truck backing it out of his trailer. To say I'm disappointed in this entire experience is an understatement. I never heard from AmeriFreight again. They never checked in with me to see if I received my vehicle or how it all went. At least, not until now. Now I have received emails, phone calls, and a text because they want a review from me. This was a hard review for me to write because I am a very lenient person and let a lot of things slide but this experience did not go well and I sure don't feel it was worth over $300!

We apologize for any frustrations this customer encountered during their shipping process. We have looked into the order, and all carrier information was emailed to the customer at the time of dispatch to the email address provided to us. When the customer reached out to us in reference to the pick up time frame, we were given an estimate of 5-7 pm by the driver, which was relayed to the customer. Carriers will try to provide as accurate of an estimated arrival time as possible, but a number of circumstances can cause delays. We hope this customer will give AmeriFreight a chance to assist with any future auto shipment needs.
