We needed to transport a 2005 Volvo S40 from Virginia to Mississippi. We had many options, but using an auto transport company seemed something to try since we had never do this before. We went online and requested a quote from a site and immediately stated receiving quotes online and phone calls. The quotes had a $400 to $500 difference from the lowest to highest. All of the quotes were more than we had planed on spending. After looking closer and reading the information from all the different "BROKERS", it became apparent the there are some scam issues within the auto transportation system. We had picked a couple of companies to look at closer, but after further investigation, neither was a BBB member and both had "F" ratings. I had never seen an "F" rating before and was about to give up and just get a one way plane ticket and drive the car myself. It would have taken me two days and lots of additional stress that we did not want. We then searched Auto transportation companies with BBB accreditation and A ratings. AmeriFreight was on the list so we decided to give them a call. We spoke with Whitney Galloway and what a pleasure it was to deal with her. We felt much more confident about transporting the car with AmeriFreight and initiated order #1501722193-FL with Whitney. A week later when it was time for the car to be moved, we received a call from Millie Shepard, also with AmeriFreight, that a carrier was available to transport the car. The carrier was an enclosed carrier which we had not requested, but the cost was basically the same AND Millie also help us reduce the insurance coverage we had selected because of the enclosed carrier. Millie was also looking out for us. The car was picked up with minimal issues. The carrier could not go straight to the pick up address and the car had to be driven to an agreed upon location. The car was delivered a couple of days later and the driver was very nice to deal with. The entire experience with AmeriFreight was fantastic. They are who the say they are. And AmeriFreight has the BBB "A" rating for a reason. It was not just given to them, they deserve it. Thank you to Whitney and Millie from Sharon and Mark.
