Transporting Camry from Camarillo, California to Washington DC

My wife and I were a bit nervous about having our car transported from California to Washington DC, as we had never done this before. However, the car arrived fine in DC when our daughter met the car carrier driver to pick up the car in Annandale, VA (just outside of DC). The driver texted us when he was halfway into the trip to let us know the approximate date he would arrive. Things worked out well, as the car was picked up at our home in S. California on Monday and delivered to daughter at 6:00 PM on Sunday evening, so the total trip time was 6 days. The expected price ended up being about $250 higher than we thought it would be, but we agreed to the higher price before the car was picked up. Melissa at AmeriFreight was excellent to work with and both her and the transport driver kept us posted. We would definitely use AmeriFreight again if we need a car transported.
