I moved from MS to WA in June 2018 and needed to move 2 cars. We almost sold one of them rather than dealing with shipping it because we had heard of how big of a hassle it is and the potential for damage, etc. I am glad we decided to keep it because we had a good experience using AmeriFreight. Samantha was very responsive to my questions and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Our cars were picked up by a flatbead trailer and only our two cars were hauled on it, which was the best case scenario to us. As we were driving across the country in our other vehicle, we saw many cars hauled like this and said we hoped ours would be done that way. Our original estimated price almost doubled by the time we secured a carrier, but it was low to start with so we didn't feel it was too unreasonable. If you are going to ship your cars, especially in the high season, I recommend making your first available date as soon as possible. It took us an extra week beyond our desired pick up window to get a carrier but we were able to leave our cars with a family member so it all worked out. That feeling when your cars arrive is great and I am glad I used AmeriFreight.
