company assumed I wanted an open trailer for my corvette @ the price of 1325. When enclosed was discussed I received an open trailer. When I talked to the supervisor they amazingly had no notes on that When he asked what they could do to fix the issue I mentioned a refund of my deposit and I will still pay the drive the outrageous cost. He said they couldn't do that nor help in any other way! Great customer survice! He answer to the open trailer was,"We assumed that's what you wanted" So this company won't ask what kind of trailer you want, they just pick and charge you for the more expensive one. I was willing to work with the snake they call a supervisor but he apparently couldn't after offering to. I can't wait to see the conditions of my car on arrival. Who wouldn't want an open trailer to transport their car from northern MI in the snowbird season to NC? Extremely disappointed and disgusted with a company that allows people to do this. Make sure you talk to slow to these "AGENTS" so you don't have issues. Record the call as well, might help out in the long run when they decide they can't remember the conversation.

At the beginning of each customer's shipping process, they are given the option to ship their vehicle with an open trailer or an enclosed trailer. This customer, at no time, requested an enclosed trailer to ship his vehicle. Despite this, we still would have assisted the customer in finding an enclosed carrier, if only he had contacted us prior to the pick up of their vehicle to change his shipping option. The customer did not request an enclosed trailer until after the vehicle had already been picked up by the carrier company. The customer stated that he assumed Amerifreight would send an enclosed carrier, despite never requesting this option prior to pick up. Unfortunately, Amerifreight cannot issue refunds when a customer decides to change their shipping preferences mid transit.
