DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! From the start to the finish our experience was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING-TRULY A LIVING NIGHTMARE!! Their customer service is absolutely horrific! We were told that we would get a call the day prior to our pickup giving us a window of time when they would come to get our car. Not only did that NOT happen, but I had to call A to Z the day our car was “supposedly” being picked up, but got the complete run around. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I still did not know when the driver would be coming. The driver finally called, giving us ONE hour notice of when he was coming. I was assured that the car would be delivered to my daughter’s campus since they delivered “door-to-door service.” However, once again…NOT TRUE!! The delivery of our car was even worse. The driver called telling us he would be there in six hours, not only was he not there in six hours, he called at 10:30 at night wanting us to meet him at a different location THAT NIGHT to pick up the car. He then called back telling us he would NOT be coming after all, but would bring it the next morning. Of course, no phone call the next morning. I called him only to be told that he wanted us to drive TWO hours to meet him to get our car. Once again, I called A to Z, and once again was on hold for 20 minutes and was assured that it would be delivered the next day. This same scenario went on & on for FOUR DAYS! I cannot stress how horrific our experience was! A to Z has HORRIBLE communication skills. Do yourself a favor and do NOT get involved with this company. The worst experience ever!!!!!!!

Mr. Andsager contracted with A to Z Auto Shipping to transport his vehicle from Naperville, Il to Malibu, CA. His scheduled pick up was 8/8-9. Ms. Andsager called our office on 8/8 and we advised her that her vehicle would pick up the next day. Due to the traffic in the Chicago area, the driver could not predict an exact pick up time. He called one hour prior to pick up and loaded her vehicle on 8/9, as scheduled. As per our contract, pick up and delivery is door to door, where accessible. If anyone knows the Malibu area, they would know that the only way to get to Malibu is through canyons, which Carriers are restricted from, or Pacific Coast Highway, a two lane, conjested, curvy road. Driver asked customer to meet in a more truck friendly area but customer insisted on Malibu. Due to the location and distance from Los Angeles, driver needed to wait until he had at least one more vehicle going toward that direction, being sure that the car would still arrive on schedule. He delivered the vehicle to the customer on 8/15..6 days and 2000 miles from pick up and a day earlier that the estimated 7 day window. We offered to reimburse the customer $50 for her inconvenience in the change of time of delivery, but she declined. There are 5 full time employees working at A to Z Auto and no one is ever on hold for 20 minutes. In addition, how could it be possible that this scenario went on for 4 days when the vehicle was picked up and delivered within 6 days (with the Carrier traveling from Il to CA, over 2000 miles). Ms. Andsager,s vehicle was pickup up on 8/9, as scheduled, delivered on 8/15, as scheduled, and damage free. I truly do hope that this experience IS the worst experience ever!!!
