Contacted 1Flat-Rate just before Christmas. Told them the earliest date the car was ready for pickup was Dec. 26, but that there was no hurry. On the 27th, I got an email that they had a driver picking up on Jan. 2nd- and that the estimated transfer time was 4-5 days. The driver was in touch 24 hours in advance to let me know ETA, and again when he was 45 min. away the day of picking up. (He was very personable and cordial, too.) Checking the car, signing paperwork, loading the car took all of 15 min. Again, the driver contacted my son 24 hours before delivery with estimated time of arrival. Unloading, signing and payment was just as quick and easy according to my son. - Overall the transfer took 6 days (including a weekend) because the nasty weather across the US- nothing the transport company/driver could have done differently. Really, a smooth as silk transaction/transfer!
