Ship a Car Direct was disappointed. I called a month ahead to notify that when/where my vehicle should be delivered. Ship a Car Direct told me it was too far out and they will contact me about two weeks prior to the destination date (Jan. 23) GUARANTEED! So they did call me back, but did not found a carrier. Once Ship a Car Direct stated guaranteed I purchased my flight.

Ship a Car Direct was in contacted with me through out the process until about a week closer to the destination date. I had my flight booked and I was ready to start my new job on Jan. 25. I was anxious that I will not have my vehicle for work. Guess what? I was right!! I contacted Ship a Car Direct to check on the status- they found a carrier, but my vehicle will not be delivered until Jan. 26 (three days late) NOT ACCEPTABLE. I had to canceled/re-booked my flight (not refundable).

Side note: Customer service was nice. The driver was nice as well- he was on time for arrival and delivery. Once Ship a Car Direct have the carrier and the driver, everything went smoothly. But prior to that not so great.

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed, Joe, and that you had to reschedule your flight. We always try to find a carrier match to hit your target dates as tight as possible, but we don't have guarantees no matter how much notice you give us. We refer to availability and timing as "estimates" because there aren't advance schedules for transport drive times in the same way there are set schedules for flights. It's a different process. So sorry that realistic transport timing was not explained better for you.
