Good Service but many delays with delivery

Graham was easy to deal with and get in contact with via phone. When I gave him the available date for pickup he called back the next day (amazingly quick!) with a carrier who had accepted the offer, but at $100 more than I was originally quoted (which still put it over $100 under other quotes I got.
I had to decline this driver as the dealer didn't have my car ready to ship the day they said they would.
I then waited 8 days for another carrier willing to accept the job which is about how long I expected to wait.
This carrier wanted $300 more than I was originally quoted, putting it about $75-100 above other quotes I originally got. Graham was very upfront about these price changes before I approved the pickup both times. He encouraged me to accept this offer as I had waited a week for someone to accept the job and there weren't many trucks coming through that route.

I do feel Amerifreight gives much too low estimate quotes ($200 less than others I got) and then when they find a driver of course he charges more than they said it would cost.

My delivery experience was not ideal but I don't blame on Amerifreight as they put out my job for bid. Graham told me it would arrive Sunday night, then the next day the driver said he would arrive Monday night. Monday I called him at 6pm to check the status and he said that his truck was in the shop (and he couldn't call me as my paperwork was in the truck) and he wasn't leaving NC until Tuesday AM. He said he would arrive Tues night around 9. Tues eve he called around 8 and said he was delayed and would be there Wed morning.

All these delays could have been major inconveniences but luckily I was flexible and available.
