I had to go to Philadelphia for a funeral and turned out that I had to fly back for a different emergency back in Florida. I found this company by looking at reviews of car transport companies.
I had never had my car towed that far before, but it all went smoothly. AmeriFreight acts as a broker between you, the customer, and various trucking companies that will bid on your request.
I paid the trucking company driver, upon delivery to me in Florida, $600 in cash (that's all they would take) but I also paid AmeriFreight $250 for the broker fee I guess?
I would absolutely use them again, but I would be re-miss if I didn't say that $250 is HUGELY expensive for their role in the process. It only took an hour or so between the time I made the order and we were set up with a truck so I suspect they put your job out to bid and they give you various options. You are paying for their contacts I guess, but still a lot of money.
