I applied for quotes online to transport my Camry from Kansas to Nevada. I been getting multiple offers and finally decided to just pick one and it ended up to be with 1 flat rate. Donna was the one who called me and offered me customer service. She gave me the price for the delivery of my car. I thought the price was pretty high when she first told me, but I had a feeling it wouldn't be a scam and they would get the job done. The reason I picked this company was because they said I wouldn't pay anything until my car is delivered. That made total sense. Other companies that have called me to offer me service wanted a deposit or some kind of payment before my car will arrive in Nevada. I'm glad I didn't use them because now that I think about it, it was probably a scam. Although the price was cheaper from some other companies, I didn't trust them. I didn't feel comfortable making a deposit or paying anything before my car was going to be picked up. When Donna called me, she was sincere and very helpful. She explained to me that 1 flat rate would not take any payment until I was completely satisfied With the delivery. She even told me to check out their company to ensure it wasn't a scam. It's funny because my name is Donna and the person who talked to me from the company is named Donna too. I liked that the company emailed me the receipt and kept me informative. They sent me the drivers information. The driver called ahead to plan everything with me. We ran into a problem in the beginning but thankfully we fixed it. I was unhappy when I had to call my dad to drop the car off at another location near the pickup address because his big truck couldn't fit in the street. I wish the driver or 1 flat rate would have mentioned or asked me about it instead of at the last minute Loui my driver called me and told me he was at Walmart. I was upset about this but lucky my dad came back from work 20 minutes later to deliver the car to Loui for pickup. Loui had to wait for my dad at Walmart to drop off the car. Loui delivered my car for me and I was satisfied. He even brought it to me a day early! I paid him by money order the full amount instead of making two separate payments like 1 flat rate sent in my email. It was a lot easier to send one check instead of two separate check of one to the carrier and one to 1 flat rate. Overall I'm happy I got my car in one piece.
