I contacted Amerifrieght because of all the great reviews, the BBB A+ rating was the main reason I contacted them. I had purchased a car out of state, I live in Los Angeles; the car was in Colorado at a Lexus Dealership. I had contacted multiple shipping companies and was eager to get my car home. Amerifrieght was quick to respond via the e-mail quote system they use. I originally decided to go with a different company that was recommended by the dealership, I changed my mind later because they waited 3 days after I had filled out a request form and sent them all my information for payment to tell me they didn't have a delivery date for me and that my order was still not processed. I called Amerifrieght that morning and spoke to graham. He said he would put my order up on the board to get some activity going without charging me the deposit up front. He said if he found something going out adapter he would call me, 30 mins later he hada company that could pick up my car that same day! The quote was also $100 less ( I had to write a review for $50 discount- which I don't mind since it was well worth it). On Amerifrieghts side I really have no complaints. They were print and professional. The shipping company they contracted my delivery to was not so great. They were supposed to call me with updates on my delivery, I had to call them everyday to find out where my car was. They picked up my car on a Thursday, the driver didn't set out towards Californis until Sunday morning. Every time I did call the contact person, he sounded annoyed and said there's nothing new and that my driver would call me. Finally on Monday at 4pm, once again when I called him( because he had said delivery would be Monday). Mario says "Oh he hasn't called you? Let me get him on the line. He 3-way calls the driver who lets me know he had an issue in Las Vegas and could be at my location on Tuesday morning. This is where the problem lies. I needed to have someone present to take delivery of the car, they kart changing the day on me. I can't take multiple days off work to take delivery of the car myself. The car was dirty which is to be expected of a car transpired in an open carrier. But that concealed to scratches on the driver door. Cost 2 coast trucking was the co. Don't use them, and get the $100 gap insurance.
