My experience with South Beach Transport was fantastic! This company was not my first choice - after getting multiple responses to my initial inquiry to transport a 1966 Triumph TR4A roadster from Syracuse, NY to the Philadelphia area, I went with the lowest bid from another company. Sara Lopez at South Beach, who ended up being my contact person there, got in touch with me anyway, to caution me about "bait and switch" used by other companies to suck you in and then not deliver on their promises.
Well, that's exactly what happened to me. I sensed this other company was losing interest in me when they became difficult to contact, and wouldn't return my calls. Because Sara had reached out to me with some unsolicited advice, I called her back in somewhat of a panic with about a week to go until D-day. She immediately set my mind at ease, calmly and professionally laying out my options for transport. I started off wanting a closed carrier for my "baby", but we reached a satisfactory compromise by employing a single-car flatbed truck.
Another hurdle was surmounted when my requirement for a Friday pick-up and next-day delivery on Saturday proved to be a difficult window to attract potential drivers. Sara once again came to the fore by offering to restructure the overall $590 delivery cost, taking a lower broker's fee so the driver could collect a higher fee. This worked like a charm, and my contract #495032-PH was fulfilled on Saturday, September 26th, with my Triumph arriving at its destination in perfect condition.
Working as I do in another customer-centric industry like Sara does, I can honestly say that she went above and beyond the requirements of her job to provide a better experience than I could have possibly hoped for. Without reservation, I heartily recommend South Beach Transport to one and all, and reserve special praise for Sara Lopez. Sincerely,
