I was looking into various options for transporting my truck from California to Georgia and was overwhelmed by the amount of companies and brokers in this space! I researched some consumer reviews and found Direct Express Auto Transport. They were highly ranked so I felt some assurance even though the price point was higher than other brokers I researched.

I needed to get this car shipped right away and paid for the express shipping cost. Note that this does not guarantee you'll get your car picked up but it does expedite the service! I paid $179 plus $1000 for the delivery. I was told the car would be picked up 1-2 days. By the end of day 2 I was feeling antsy and gave them a call. I was told that there would be no guarantee that they would find a driver but they were on it. This aspect of the process really gave me grief. But I get it, they are hard at work trying to find a driver. On day 3 they found someone and gave me a call. They sent me instructions and told me a driver would be dispatched by 6am the next day.

Unfortunately, the driver didn't arrive until 10am. He did have a good excuse though - he got a flat tire and then traffic built up. It's LA. No surprise there.

The driver (Zebs?) was very cordial. He had a good attitude, thoroughly inspected the vehicle for damages and got on his merry way. He said he would try to to get it delivered by Friday, but that Saturday was more realistic.

My son called on Saturday to let me know he received the truck. He did not mention any damages so I assume things are ok on that end. I was very pleased with the service and would consider using Direct Express Auto Transport again!
