I contacted the auto transport broker, Amerifreight, to ship my car from Wynnewood Pennsylvania to Oceanside California. I selected Amerifreight and signed a contract with this broker because of its good online reviews and its price, in $300 less than what other brokers offered. I was not in a tight schedule to have my car delivered. For 1.5 weeks after my car was available for pickup, Amerifreight found me 2 shippers, each requiring $200 more than contract and a car drop-off to their distance locations. Their third shipper again required $200 more ($150 after incentive) but no drop-off. I accepted this offer even though it was not substantially cheaper than others. Amerifreight nevertheless did work hard to find me a shipper. They were professional in the process and were courteous on the phone. Their shipper delivered my car to my California house with no new damages and in reasonable time of 8 days. The transportation was satisfactory.
