Last month (end of May 2015) Was suppose to pay $550 upon car deliver but instead I was made to pay $700. Reason being I agreed to py 100$ more because when they called to ask me if i want my car picked up on tbe earliest day The "driver" is asking more money. THE DRIVER NEVER CAME and they said the vehicle was dispatched. Next day Carlos said he could not beleive this happend and tnat your car was supposed to be picked up. Next day still no driver and I am still paying $100 more for them not coming on time because now i agreed to pay. Later after 2 days my car is finally picked up but now the driver asks me for $50 more because my car trunk is packed. In short, they do not go by the amount that they state on the contract. Be aware of there tricks, and be ready for not getting your calls returned even after they say they will call you (in my case it being Carlos). How can the driver just decide to charge 100$ more without picking up my car on time as stated.

Big mistake. I went with them because they were cheap but at the end it ended up being the same as other comapnies with added stress and waste of time.

We are sorry the customer feels they were not satisfied with overall service provided. Customer placed their order with us on 05/01 with a first available release date of 05/19. Customer read, signed and returned our contract agreeing to all T&C’s. It clearly states in the contract and in previous conversations prior to booking, that all dates are estimates and never guaranteed. This is very standard in the automobile transport industry. Most vehicles are picked up between 3-5 days from the first available release date. On 03/20, a carrier called negotiating for a better price for himself. Carrier was asking for $150 more. Pickup was scheduled for that day as the carrier was in the area. It is our duty as the customers broker to present each and every offer we get from carriers. It is very common practice for carriers to call and ask for more money. Our agent called and presented the offer to the customer as merely an offer, and we would be more than happy to keep searching for a carrier at the contracted price. Customer really wanted the car picked up as soon as possible, was hesitant to pay the extra money which we fully understood, and so in an effort to help the customer, we offered to pay $50 of our own money so that the customer could have their car picked up soonest. Customer agreed to the additional $100 of her own money and the vehicle was dispatched. In the time it took us to contact customer and get them to accept the offer, the carrier had left the area and were no longer interested in the load. Unfortunately we had to un-dispatch the order from that carrier. The very next day on 05/21, we found yet another carrier who also had made the same offer. Customer was again notified, and agreed. Pickup was scheduled for 05/22. Customer had informed our agent that the car would have less than 100 pounds of personal items in the car. As we tell ALL our customers, that by law you are not allowed any personal items, however most carriers do allow a small amount of personal items in the trunk, less than 100 pounds, and it is up to the individual driver’s discretion if they will or will not accept personal items and also if they will charge extra for those items. When carrier arrived the car was packed with personal items!! Most carriers will charge up to $200 for something like or not even accept the load, but the carrier we hired not only accepted to take the load, but also charged only and additional $50 which the customer agreed to. In the end, customer had their car picked up in 3 days from their first available date, customer fully agreed to the extra costs, customer wrongfully packed their car with personal items, and AutoStar Transport Express paid $50 of our money to assist the customer in getting their vehicle picked up sooner. We did everything we could to assure a quick and safe transport for the customer, but some people are just hard to please.
