I was contacted by Carlos at AutoStar after I had been in contact with another company about my transport and it was working on my transport details. Carlos asked if I still needed a transport and I explained that I did, but the other company had not been giving me much information. Carlos was exceptional at explaining the whole system to me. He informed me that he could start looking for a transport for me at that moment and went through the process step-by-step. During this time, he even waited for me to discuss the details with my husband, who was also impressed by his customer service. We both agree that Carlos earned our business. As for our actual transport time, there was a minor miscommunication between myself, Carlos, and the transporter. The transporter called me a week before the date I needed the transport and thought that he was picking my car up that next day. It was a bit stressful during that week of, but Carlos assured me that there would be a transport happening and not to worry. The transport ended up happening on Monday (my window was Thursday-Monday). My husband and I had to be assertive with the driver because he tried to delay our pick up by a half day. We were traveling across country and simply couldn't wait for those extra hours. So, he ended up meeting us for the pick up at a reasonable time for us. The car was dropped off conveniently at the correct location and perfect time. My experience with Carlos, the driver, and the driver's son (who met us to drop off the car at the end) was very good. As for the price, Carlos initially quoted me at $650. However, due to the urgency of my car needing to be picked up in Houston during a four-day period, he bumped my quote up to $750 in order to ensure that I would have a driver to pick up my car. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I am glad it all went well and my car arrived in perfect condition! Carlos was easy to contact, responsive, professional, and helpful during this entire process!
