Great up front service, blurred lines during transport

David at Ship A Car Direct was very helpful in getting the transporter organized and helping me stay on budget by finding a middle ground between what the transporter wanted to ship the car and what I had anticipated to spend. The car and transporter went off from Florida and everything seemed good, was told 7-10 days, and we waited. On day 12, I decided to call the company to ask where my vehicle was, and they told me it was stationed at their lot in LA and was planning to go out next Wednesday. I really wish I had been told this earlier by the company or by Ship A Car Direct if they knew that this transporter had practices like this. While this falls more on the transporter, I wish there had been better communication during the transport. However late my car was, it came in good condition, just very dirty from the drive up, but a good washing fixed that up.
