I'm a mid 20s Navy LT who needed to move his car from FL to NC. I have to say that I absolutely hate the car moving business. I believe that there appears to be so much hidden from customers, and reviews I read online about the worst of the worst going on. Cars being damaged, not picked up for weeks, hugely overpriced, lost communications, and just chaos. This was the case when I moved from Virginia to Florida just 6 months ago. This caused me and my wife so much anxiety that we just could not come to give anyone our money to move our car. Luckily my parents graciously took time off of work to drive our car to FL so that we could take our newborn on a plane together and not drive the exhaustive trip with the little guy. This time we did not have much choice. We needed to ship our car. I read some reviews and came to Ship a Car Direct. They looked good on paper but I was still completely convinced that everyone was a crook and i needed to keep my guard up for shaded dealings. I am very proud and glad to say that Matt from Ship a Car Direct talked to me about the process, worked with me on my extremely small time-frame (Called Monday and needed pickup before the end of the week) and this magic man got the greatest nicest truck driver to pick up my car on Wednesday evening and had it delivered to my new house that Friday! Matt stayed in contact with me throughout the process, called to check on me, called to check on the truck driver and expected arrivals. He even followed up with me after delivery to see how things went. He was amazing. I now have scratched this "Ship a Car Direct" off of my crook list and onto my "Will use to move my car every freaken time the Navy makes me move list." I am very happy to write this review and I hope it helps someone that is in similar predicament. I would definitely go with this company. They got my business for life.
