Got a quote for the Economy Rate since I didn't have a time limit. It was a big confusing but Graham was patient and explained how this worked. Original quote was for $1095 best case, after several bids at over $1300, I gave approval to find a carrier for $1200. This was still a good rate compared to other quotes I got from other brokers. Graham found a carrier within the day. Carrier arrived the next day to pickup the car. The truckers, although their English was marginal, was friendly. Car was delivered in 8 days, 2 days earlier than the original estimate.
Go for the Economy rate if you aren't time constrained and are willing to pass up opportunities for lower price. If you use this model, you need to be prepared to negotiate (turn down opportunities for better price), and be available to respond to opportunities quickly,
