Whatever you are quoted, add 40%. Entire industry is slimy and fake with quotes from brokers that estimate costs without consulting with drivers that set fees. Bait and switch the numbers when you are extremely vulnerable and desperate for your delivery. Next time I'll call trucking companies direct because our experience with the driver was perfect. Hitting the multi-company quote on this site was a mistake since email and cell was bombarded by fake "grab your attention" amounts. Ricky agreed to $875 for covered transport from TX to FL, then wouldn't start the process until we agreed to $1100. By that time three days had passed and while we get angrier, the number of drivers available on that route dwindles down. All brokers seem corrupt, not just South Beach since I wasted the prior week having the same drama/conversation with Jason at Seamless. They've gotcha!
