Two AutoStar transports review

I dealt w/Marco almost exclusively in reserving two transports, one open and one enclosed. He provided information which helped guide my decision to choose them, like checking other sites and motor carriers, etc. That was reassuring and beneficial. He didn't get sales-aggressive like another company. I felt as though he had my best interest in mind. , At the end of this, I realized AutoStar is just a broker. They cannot control or guide the drivers who contract with them anymore than I can. Don't even know if they have driver preferences. For instance, both drivers insisted on picking up 1-2 days earlier than estimated which threw a wrench in my plans. A dispatcher for second transport admitted to forgetting about me altogether, delaying pickup. He called me at 8:30 am. That driver arrived at 5:30pm to load my classic car in the rain, with the poorest of lighting. He was nice, but both drivers weren't there to understand my worries-only their schedule. My daily use car arrived needing an alignment badly, and was driven at least 10 miles, too.

Summarizing, AutoStar found drivers quickly, conveniently and Marco was very helpful. Flip side... drivers need customer service training, and how to speak English a bit more clearly.
