I Did Not Have Too High or Unrealistic Expectations

Just shipped my daughters 2012 Escape out to Scottsdale, AZ. for her 6 month intership. After leaving a deposit when I reserved with Autostar, I started to regret after reading ads from their competitors not to give deposits and all the propaganda some of these companies put out. After doing a little research, I don't blame them for getting a deposit. I initially set up for the ready to ship date as Dec. 22nd. I was quoted $950.00 which included the $175.00 deposit which I thought was a little low as everyone else was $1,050 to $1,100.00 Our car was ready to ship as of the 16th so I called Christian, my customer service rep, and move my ready to ship date to give us more time to get the car there by our need by date of Dec. 29th. Also, I was concerned that my rate was a little low and I would get picked over by the car haulers for higher rates being so close to the Holidays and "snow bird" season closing in. I offered to Christian to raise my fare $150.00 to make my move more competitive and increase my chances of getting a carrier sooner. Christian called me back an hour later with an assigned carrier. The carrier got my car delivered 5 days later in Scottsdale with no damages and we are extremely happy.

It helps to do a little research and understand how auto shipping works prior to shipping a vehicle. That way you won't have an unrealistic expectation and will in turn get a much more positive result. I want to thank my customer service rep, Christian, and the staff at Autostar Transport For doing such a great job on our order. You guy are a legit Transport company.
