UPDATE: Well, Tropical Auto Carriers LLC lied again. This time, they told Transport Review that I was never their customer and to take my "fake" review down. So Transport Review asked me for proof and I sent them a TON of documentation showing that Tropical Auto Carriers LLC are huge liars. Wow! They could not perform on our contract, so I fired them, then they threatened me after I posted a negative review and then they flat out lied and said I was never their customer. I had the DISPATCH sheet and their quote PLUS a bunch of emails between Phil, the owner, and myself. Are they stupid or what? Lying with that kind of paper trail is just plain dumb. Tropical, why don't you try to concentrate on delivering cars & not this type of BS!!

DON'T USE TROPICAL AUTO CARRIERS LLC. THEY CAN'T PERFORM & WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING AND THREATEN YOU IF YOU COMPLAIN.

UPDATE: I was told by Transport Review the Shipper, Tropical Auto Carriers, sent me this. These guys are scum bags!

I won a car on December 26. I chose Tropical because they had a guaranteed 3 day pick up and 5 day guaranteed delivery. I made a deal with the shippers on December 27 to deliver for $318.00. Instead of a 3 day pick up, they promised to pick up on January 2. I told seller the pick up would be Friday Jan 2.

Around 4:00 p.m., I called Tropical. NO ANSWER. 954-417-6156. Then I called the seller. He said he contacted Tropical earlier that day and they said he'd get a phone call 2 hours before pick up. So he, as well as I are waiting around all day. I called Willie Wilson, who is listed as the driver on the dispatch sheet. Willie tells me he called Tropical earlier that day and told them "his truck was broke down and wouldn't be fixed until Monday... so he's not picking anything up until Monday."

Tropical did NOT call me or the seller or anyone to tell us pick up was rescheduled for Monday, January 5! They did not answer their phone. Then I called uShip at 800-698-7447. Their number is not transparent on their website but I got it from the BBB (with 79 complaints but an A+ rating??) Anyway, uShip told me they have no responsibility in all this; they just list potential shippers. I now have a call into DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) to deliver this car.

This is the 4th car I've ever shipped. The other times I used DAS and I had NO PROBLEMS! I should've used them this time too. Using uShip and Tropical Shippers was a BAD, BAD MISTAKE. No one at either location is accountable. It's disgraceful!
