My experience with the Auto Shipping Group account executive was excellent. He was very detailed about how the process works and was responsive when I contacted him. The actual trucking company was a little more difficult to speak with, as the dispatcher had a very thick accent and he gave me a hassle about paying by cashiers check. The car was picked up on time, which was a worry, since we were about to take off for our cross-country move. It arrived earlier than expected (though still within their window). The driver was very nice and hard working, but he gave us a bit of a hassle about accepting a cashier's check too. Apparently, cash is the preferred method of payment by a long shot, so if you are comfortable with carrying large sums of cash in your wallet, you will make everyone super happy. In the end, after I called the trucking company dispatch fellow and he called his driver to explain, all was sorted out. The car was in perfect condition (odometer and exterior were checked), albeit a little dirty (not surprised or disgruntled, as this was an open truck). The price was a bit high in my opinion, but I am pleased with the service and relieved everything went smoothly! I was happy to pay a bit more for a reputable company.
