My car was picked up on the day promised but was delivered way ahead of time (4 days) so had to stay in the transporter's garage until I arrived in CA. He was trustworthy and reliable and my car arrived safe and sound. My car was not picked up at my home in Chicago but had to be dropped of at major intersection (few miles away). It also had to be picked up at the transporter's home in a different city given that it had arrived early. I was under the impression during the process that it will be picked up at or close to my home. The rest of the payment was also required to be done in cash/cashier check which was not clear at the beginning.

Thank you for your feedback, Doan! Sorry if the process was a little confusing. Carriers do try to pick up at your door if they can get their truck in your neighborhood and load safely there. Sometimes low hanging trees, road weight restrictions, dead-ends or similar logistical issues mean a carrier has to meet nearby. Glad it was otherwise pleasant!
