I must have received at least a dozen calls throughout the transaction and transport. At each step, the coordinator was letting me know where the driver was, an expected pickup time, and calls right before pickup and drop-off. I couldn't be more pleased with that process.

My advice to anyone else sending a car on an open transport is to plan on getting a car wash after you receive the car. It is going to be dirty and there may be drips from cars placed above yours. Just anticipate this and you won't be disappointed when your car arrives much dingier than you left it.

Another piece of advise is to be flexible in your pickup and drop off expectations. Acknowledge ahead of time that yours isn't the only car on the transport and you may not get the exact scheduling you prefer. You'll get some estimates of a pickup day and time, and then that might change. Try to be flexible and you'll be happy.

These truck drivers are amazing characters that live on the road. My only tiny complaint is the interior was smudged a bit from the driver's hands. Some gloves donned before handling the interior of the car might have helped.
