Everything was great with Amerifreight except the company they chose to carry the vehicle. It was a little sketchy at first and I had no contact from them besides the initial confirmation that the truck was picked up to when it was already 2 days late. I left them (In Transit LLC) multiple messages (after the automated system puts you on hold for ten minutes) to try and figure out where my truck was and when it would be here so I could schedule my life around picking it up.
Amerifreight did their best to try to contact them as well with no luck and this was disappointing. I did receive a call from the driver with an estimated day of delivery a day in advance but he blew a brake line or something which delayed yet again another day which was frustrating because I had taken the day off of work in order to be available to pick up my vehicle. These things happen and it is unfortunate and unavoidable so nobody is to blame for that. They transferred my vehicle off the original truck so they could bring it on a flatbed into the city as close to me as possible which was nice but irritating because that involved starting communication with brand new person and giving all my information again to a guy who barley spoke english and was very difficult to speak with. The truck arrived the next day in proper condition and I paid him and signed the bill of lading and merry on my way I went with my new car, all after 12 days of nail bitting and sleep robbing stress.
