They are in contact with you letting you know the status of your car. They call ahead of time to let you know day and around what time they will pick-up/deliver your car. If you need to get a hold of them and they don't answer, leave a voice message and they will call back. Email, they always respond too. I was told it was going to be picked up Friday but my car was picked up early Saturday and delivered early Wednesday, absolutely no damage to the car. However, it is not a door to door delivery/pick-up, they tell you the location of where to go drop off your car and where to go pick it up. Usually big parking lots (Target and Costco). ETA was Wednesday or Thursday, so I was very pleased that it got delivered Wednesday AM.
