My name is Jitesh Jay Patel i recently had the misfortune of having my vehicle shipped from Arlington Texas (suburbs of Dallas) , to Eugene Oregon (Pacific Northwest) my Power Acoustik PD touch screen sound system was stolen and my mistubishi eclipse "diamond" emblem was half broken in an attempt to steal that as well from the front bumper so to begin my horrible experience i contacted a few shipping companys and came acrossed South Beach Transport i read a few online reviews and southbeach had the best of the bunch . I thought that this company would be the smartest choice to have my 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse sports Coupe transported so i had a broker assigned to me named David Houston to handle my shipping needs from the onset i had to call multiple times to see if someone was available to pick up my car i understand that once you decide to have a car transported that it goes on a "loading board" so unless if the broker can find a driver to haul away your vehicle for a certain price then your car is left without being transported it may take weeks or as long as a month, i have a feeling thats how shipping companys get your business by providing you the lowest possible quote all the while your car just sits , well to make a long story short , i had told David Houston to increase my quoted shipping price of ($990 ) because no one was willing to pick up my car for that low of a quote that David Houston had originally given me. Eventually i was sick of waiting a few daus so i had called up David Houston representing SouthBeach to increase my shipping price a few days later he had found a driver to have my vehicle shipped his name was "AndreyYefimov " russian guy who spoke broken english representing USA AUTO TRANSPORT CARRIER so he and i went through a look around to inspect my vehicle to see for damages hail ,dents, scratchs,window cracks , as well as interior of my car for rips in the seats etc.. so apon completion of the inspection all went well we both acknowledged that my vehicle is not perfect had a few small dents and scratchs interior rips etc.. so i went along and signed the contract the price to ship my 2008 eclipse was $1.100 plus a $100 broker fee to South Beach Transport for the broker David Houstons services i suppose a finders fee So i had my vehicle shipped So on may 24th of 2014 i had my 2008 eclipse shipped from Arlington texas to Eugene Oregon it took about 7 days my car arrived on may 31st 2014 once i picked up my car i immediated asked why is the front emblem broken Andrey the shipper had acted all dumb founded like he did not know what had happened im like ok so he handed me my keys so i could inspect the interior and to my utter amazement my indash touch screen stereo system had been removed i asked him "hey what happened ? why is my bluetooh touchscreen missing he was like someone must have taken it durning his transport he had gaven me the excuse that he was staying at a hotel in Tennessee and someone possibly broke into my car i immediately tryed calling my broker David Houston from South Beach Transport but all i kept getting was his voicemail i had left a message he had never once returned my phonecalls i ended up paying Andrey the shipping fee minus the theft and broken "diamond' emblem which was not alot i am just now writing this review because i contested the broker fee of $100 with my credit card company which i gave them an explaination that i should not be liable to pay the broker "david houston" a fee for such poor service and hardship i recently Lost My Case and had to pay the broker fee i provided my credit card company with a written explanation and contracts but they had said its basically "my word agianst theres" PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE A BROKER FROM SOUTH BEACH TRANSPORT OR SHIPP YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH USA AUTO TRANSPORT CARRIER to ship your vehicle you will recieve a damaged vehicle and a nightmere experieince
